Lee Fence and Outdoor, LLC is a division of REH Holdings, Inc. along with our two sister companies, Elderlee, Inc and L.S.Lee, Inc.
The origins of REH Holdings, Inc. began in York, Pennsylvania, June 24, 1930 as H. J. Williams Co., Inc. During the next four-plus decades H. J. Williams grew into one of the foremost heavy and highway contractors in the region, building roads and bridges in Pennsylvania and Maryland. In 1984, H. J. Williams Co. was sold - completing a reorganization and transition from road building to specialty contracting and manufacturing – our focus then and today.
In 1973, H. J. Williams Co., Inc. acquired Elderlee, Inc. of Oaks Corners, New York. It provides the following capabilities:
-A construction division, which erects guardrail, signs, and bridgerail throughout New York State (Excluding New York City and Long Island).
-A steel fabrication division for fabricating box beam guide rail, guide rail posts, bridge rail products, and other commercially fabricated products.
-A highway signs division for the manufacturing of road signs.
-A hot-dip galvanizing operation capable of galvanizing highway guide rail products and commercial galvanizing for numerous industries.
As part of the 1973 transaction, the company also acquired L.S. Lee, Inc., a Pennsylvania guardrail division located in Harrisburg, PA. The following years, this operation relocated to York, PA, and within five years’ time expanded operations with facilities in both Maryland and Virginia. For the last 35 years+ L.S. Lee, Inc has been installing guardrail, bridgrail, and impact attenuators in Pennsylvania, Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware, and Virginia for the State DOT’s, general contractors, and commercial owners.
Elderlee, Inc and L.S.Lee, Inc are regarded as one of the largest and most respected guardrail contractors in the country.
Lee Fence and Outdoor was formed in early 2015 to deliver a premium fencing experience to the local York, PA market and sites throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland.
